Peter Ostroushko sang this on the 2011 A Prairie Home Companion cruise out of Boston this year. He didn't know who actually wrote the words, but he did a different ending.... "that will leave me with dos, dos, Dos Equis, Ray, the man - etc."

I heard this up north in the U.P. in Michigan and the version I heard was much better! It went like this: Dos, a beer, a Mexican beer. Ray, the guy who buys me beer. Me, the guy Ray buys beer for. Far, a long way to the bar. So I think I'll have a beer. La, la, la, la, lots of beer. Tea? No thanks I'll have a beer. Which brings us back to Dos, Dos, Dos, Dos, Dos I can't find anybody singing it this way but everybody at the Pink Pony restaurant was singing it on Mackinac Island, Michigan!
