  • I would agree with the idea of being a little faster and freerer with the tempo. The vibrato is a little disconcerting in the early sections. But there is much to like including the dynamics which lesser choirs miss. Thanks for sharing with us.

  • How I wish there was less vibrato DEFINITELY.  I love this piece and have sung it many times.

  • Not bad. I've sung this piece - with the gallery choir of the Church of St. Mary Magdalene, Toronto - yes, Willan's church. It's a bit too slow, and you need to reign in the vibrato in the sop and alto. It's not quite the "SMM sound". Overall though, a reasonable performance.
