Good comparison, after flying down the steep slopes in Cham with a BC 16.5, I'm looking for a more low level fast wing. Nano it is. Have you tried with ski's on?

Hi Fox, the 16.5 looks like a top wing for soaring and hike and fly but i dont think its up to much as a true speedwing. To slow and to much glide. The Nano is a top wing for people getting into speedflying, i would recommend it to anyone. Good speed but very very safe characteristics. I just sold my 13 after many flights on it. Got a Fluid11 now. Not flown the Nano on Skis but i know it would be great on them, after all thats what it was designed for.

Well I weight 115kg, so I may be flying a little faster. I haven't tried the Bobcat yet since it's still winter here in Canada. Once I bring it out to the local ridge and I will post a video response. BTW, all of your video's rock, the one with the Yeti is really impressive, makes me want to buy a small PG wing ;)

I also fly a Bobcat 13.5. Its the same size as my Nano but totally different. Its a fair bit faster for a given trim setting and glides much better but for speedflying the Nano is still better cos you can control your dive and fly the terrain better than on the Bobcat. My bobcat I use for flights down slopes that are to shallow for the Nano, this is where it excels.

Cool vid man, what size of wings where those?? Just curious cause I got a Bobcat 16.5 and want to compare wing loading. Thanks

Cheers. Im on the Nano13 and the other wing is the Bobcat 15. Both loaded to around 90kg, im perhaps a little over that.
