I have notice that in many of these videos of jets (especially Lear's) that both the pilot and copilot seem to place their hands on the throttle levers. I don't understand that procedure.
What is that function? Does anyone know?

This is a very nicely maintained Learjet 23!

nice!

The lear 23 shows stats for close to 7000 fpm climb
-
Do the early Learjets still hold the record for best climb rate in fpm of a corporate jet? If so, what is the spec.
-
everything is so mini and micro in that cocpit.

Haha I was just at FXE the other day visiting a mechanic, we had an alternator light come on during our climb out from PMP. FXE is such a beautiful airport

The Learjet 23, is my choice and favourite. Tricky to operate, but a gorgeous aircraft. Thanks for sharing. lol

certainly is... especially during approach. you can find yourself in a hairy situation you don't monitor your airspeed closely. the LJ23 is comparable to a lotus... small, nimble and fast!
