hey man can you help me about putting back the fire selector? cant seem to put it together properly
-
my safty still shoots on semi auto, im sure this is a problem with the selector switch, it would be great if you could tell me how to go about fixing it, thanks!

Ok i REALLY dont like internally messing with My guns: do i need to do anything to it to use a 7.4v lipo? Thanks
-
@TheMamaluigi2 No because of the plastic bushings and I think the spring guide is also plastic. You'll want to upgrade these to Modify 7mm solid stainless steel bushings (bearings are less reliable) and a metal spring guide. With an M130 spring the aluminum piston head may break the plastic cylinder head over time, so you'll want to install a polycarb ported piston head as well.

Hey do you know if the scar (completely stock) can take a m130 spring? Do I need to upgrade the motor or gears or something? also will it take a lipo with said m130 spring in stock? Thanks
-
i dont get the point of the systema motors. way over priced..

Do you recommend removing the cut off leaver for 7.4 LiPo, or only the 11.1? I want to keep semi mode on my stock VFC.

@Aquino87
My outer barrel and flash hider is non-standard, Its a part i got machined from solid 6062 T6 aluminium bar and milspec anodised.

Whatever you choose to put inside- don't expect it to last forever at these sorts of ROF. i normally do a 20K round service and inspection and a 40K round renewal of all internal parts.I use the cheap (but not nasty) chinese parts because i know they will be the first to fail and easiest (cheap) to replace. I would rather a $9 piston fail than a $80 gear set!

had u change internal gears?

The gears are standard VFC gears

Would you suggest the VFC over the G&G, and the CA SCAR's?
Im looking to buy a SCAR but I dont know which one is better...
Also i heard that the VFC SCAR has some plastic internals stock. Can you confirm this?

the VFC i find has nicer quality bodywork compared to the CA and G&G, - correct version contols and better anodising finish on the upper reciever. also i prefer the look of the Gen3 scar furnature to the Gen2 CA and G&G scars.
Inside the stock vfc scar. you will find it runs on plastic bushes and a non-bearing spring guide- but the piston is aluminium and the gears are rock solid with a reinforced last tooth for the pison gear. if you plan on modifying the gearbox anyway- it doesnt matter :)
