I am also from StHelens and I'm contacted a lot in regards to UFOs as its something I am interested in and have seen some lights in the past that people have classed as lanterns but I beg to differ as they where higher than lanterns maintained a steady course and remained in the same formation around the same time each week for several weeks running.

Yes i saw that one. I see birds a lot and use same equipment. They look just like this. Notice they are a dim light too. But yes, to each his own opinion. :)

you think birds eh.look top right they must have left their friend behind but he tries catching them up. lol. its all a matter of opinion,an knowing the area!

ideed, this is a very interesting cluster
whished you did supply exact data (date and time of the appearance on the horizon to the second, heading from, heading to) so we could check with norad orb data and try to identify.
i'm really curious about this cluster.
i heared about triplet satellites used to detect submarines.

nice shots pete,you can see the 5th object appear in the top middle of the screen, at 14 seconds.nice catch.need a tripod though!.keep looking!!
