The downturn of the economy the result of actions taken over the past few decades by BOTH parties. Both parties are responsible. No one in the political arena has clean hands. To blame it on the "pig headed" republicans is ignorant. Obama is a socialist. If you think it pains him to see this country in the shape it is in, you are wrong. America falling apart is exactly what he wants.

you see what you want to see in the cards - I could interpret this spread in an entirely different way.

@Bhav341 And no, economic downfall can be placed squarely in the hands of G.W. Bush. End of story. The Republicans are "pig headed" because they take non-issues and use them to manipulate average people into voting them back into office, when doing so is against the people's interest. They are the party of the wealthy - that is what they are designed to support. Every economic idea the Republicans have had since Reagan have CLEARLY failed. Trickle-down economics just don't work.

The majority of complaining is from people who've taken no responsibility for their lives. I didn't come from big money, but I thought about the future, went to college, got an education, worked hard to be self sufficient - but the consensus seems to be that those with money have no right to have it when other people don't. The economy is bad, but I planned for the future. Self sufficiency is what we need to push - "charity" in the form of handouts has proven it's worthlessness.

@Bhav341 That's frankly, and simply not true. Many people are upset because they have done all that and the economy still doesn't work in their favor. People don't realize that capitalism is not a system designed to help everyone and anyone. The notion that it does is also a lie. Read the great economist Immanuel Wallerstein. And there are many in this country who have very little chance of success simply because of their race, and/or what class they were born into. That's why people are upset.

As far as the rest of your comment - I would only like to respectfully point out that everything you said goes exactly against the advice the reading offered. I think there is a lot of valid complaining going on in this country that absolutely must be talked about. If everyone dealt with it as you are, no dialogue would be established, and nothing would develop. No country is perfect. Have some charity.

I no longer do the poker style of shuffling - it seems so rough on the cards, but also it's loud and disruptive to the atmosphere I wants to set up when reading.

I like your videos, but as for this reading, I didn't watch the whole thing. I'm tired of this subject. I don't think anything needs to change in the US except maybe all the people who hate it so much and whine all the time about their loser lives being everyone else's fault should go live somewhere else.

Haha thanks for also showing the shuffling, I find it interesting how much certain people put their own intuition into it and how. Also very interesting layout for our country and I love your interpretation of it :) Such a cool idea to do too <3
