The bogu's built to be hit by regulation strikes, and i don't think any of your strikes had correct form, lol.
Be safer next time, maybe use foam swords, and some better armor for just messin' around.

Yes but it is how you use the weapon that determines what you are doing, I could hold a paintball gun and use it as a club, am I paintballing? no... But if I fill the hopper and shoot others then im paintballing whether it is in a professional manner or complete ameteur manner. Same applies here, we may not be doing it exactly right but our purpose was to just have fun and do some kendo.

I don't have a problem with you having fun, Shinais are fun to mess around. But what you are doing is not kendo. I say this becuase kendo have specific waza and hits. And even ni-to waza still follow the same guild lines. And what you are doing is not within those guild lines. Like I said earlier, I think it is fun on your sport, but if you call something kendo, you will have Kendoka (Like myself) coming in here and expecting stuff.
