Quick guitar lesson on how to play "Someone Like You" by Adele on the guitar. Played without the capo.

What song should I teach next?

Guitar chords are:
Intro and verse: A, G#/A, F#m, D

Pre chorus: E, F#m, D

Chorus: A, E, F#m, D

Bridge: E, F#m, D, Bm, C#m, D, E

If you don't know how to play any of these chords, there are lessons on how to play all of these chords on my channel. :)

  • i couldn't do the F#m.. my 1st finger isn't strong enough.. :(

  • @AndreaNd92 keep practicing and you will get it down. You could also just play the top 3 or bottom 3 stings of the F#m, which would be easier.

  • f#m HELP

  • @ldbhgdas It's a tough chord to play for beginners. The best way to get better is to keep playing that chord. You could also just strum the top 3 strings if you have problems getting all the strings to sound. It's not the easiest chord to play so don't get discouraged. It took me a while to be able to play the chord.

  • If you have any questions on this lesson let me know in the comments and I will answer them.

  • got any tips on how to play the g# over a if you dont bar your a D: having some trouble.

  • @MakingMusicMakesMe Just practice by playing the A with your first finger and then your 3rd or 4th finger go on the the fourth fret of the sixth string. This chord does take a little practice.
