'Praeceptis salutaribus moniti, et divina institutione formati audemus dicere: Pater Noster, qui es in caelis, sancitfecetur nomen tuum, adveniat regnum tuum, fiat volutas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra. Panem Nostrum quotidinum da nobis hodie; et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos iducas in tentationem, sed lebera nos a malo!

@dies1domini Even for the church there is an upper class and a lower class.
They only mix with the rich and powerful. As an ordinary person you wont get
past a bishops security.
-
@lunafringe10 It is interesting that you divide people in upper class and ignorant masses. Just because you are so sure that there is no lord, are you a member of upper class?
I am not. But I am not ignorant. I am graduated in physics and I am a researcher, I speak Italian and English, I read French (and the Latin of the Bible). In any case believing in God is not much more 'ignorant' than dividing people in upper class and ignorant masses.

i ve never used that word before . but the papacy is just hogwash. A money spinning scheme.

Dont make a mistake to think i am ignorant of the liturgy. I know it all. Its as boring as watching a cow graze. And full of idiotic idiosyncracies. The only purpose being to create some kind of awe of some all mighty that doesnt exist. The history of mankind is full of examples of folly and superstition.

@dies1domini There is no lord, its superstition. I know that pater noster. Sorry i dont read the bible.
And i am doing quite well without religion or god. Thank you. Not languages praise the lord but
ppl do in their language. Have you ever seen a member of the upper class praying? Course not.
They leave that to the ignorant masses. i didnt say prayers upon birth, and i wont say any on my
departure, you can be sure of it. Cause there is no after life. Its a myth

@lunafringe10 I cannot understand why you say that the 'Pater noster' is a prayer without meaning. It is the 'oratio dominica'! We have learned it from Our Lord Himself (Divina institutione formati!) (See the Gospel of Mattew ch. 6 verse 19 and foll.) Perhaps the problem is the Latin. But this is your problem. I have learned the Latin in my early youth. On the other hand, every languages praise the Lord.

@dies1domini its like a badly made soap, prayer without any meaning

BEUTIFUL TO SEE JOHN XXIII.. even I didn't know him.. just John Paul II
Its almost a Miricle. Just next to this video is a video of Pope Benedict XVI praying the Pater Noster.
I can't wait until the day the Pope Celebrates the Traditional Mass in public.

I love to hear the voice of Joannes XXIII, the beloved Pope of my youth, blessed in the heavens. He is chanting the 'Pater Noster' out of his heart: 'Praeceptis salutaribus moniti, et divina institutione formati audemus dicere: Pater noster, qui es in coelis, santificetur nomen tuum, fiat voluntas sicut in coelo et in terra. Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie; et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris, etc.'
Pax Domini sit semper vobiscum!
