  • @PooJiraiya the abacus that we know of today first appeared around 1200 A.D. in China. No one particular person or group is considered to be the inventor as it likely evolved from various counting boards and bead systems over several centuries. The Chinese call this standard a suan-pan.

  • Shishkababs... Great visual! Abacus is not etymologically Latin, though. That's why it is improper to say "abaci" (the proper plural is abacuses). Video is well done, nonetheless!

  • Nice job!

  • This is so bizarre and hilarious.

  • Your information is whack.

  • What is the abacus at 1:12????

  • the abacus was actually not made in china it was made in babylon

  • Thanks for posting this, I have to do a report on non-electrical computers and our teacher actually gave us these examples, it was good to see a video about it too.

  • I comment you upon your acumen, perspicacity, and education. You will have a successful and happy life because you not only want to learn but to share your knowledge.

  • Stonehenge recorded astronomical stuff and is like a computer because computers can record data... That's like saying Michaelangelo's statue of David is a computer, because David is naked and nowdays we use computers to display porn.

    Somewhat nonsensical.
