  • I listened to your argument about statutory rape, which to me is an American driven law, due to where there is blame there is blame, in tthe UK legal age is 16, as a father it is to early for MY daughters to be sexually active but in the real world we all did it!! as for going equiped so to speak with a minor, chop his chuffin balls off, innocence is innocence and should always be respected, if you are thinking about minors you really should seek help early, its just so wrong!!

  • @unlcebuck1 i agree!

  • I like discussions like this, but I don't like discussing them publicly. Only with my friends in private.

    I don't disagree with though.

  • Law is a very grey area. Nothing involving the criminal justice system is "black & white" unfortunately. This is a good video, and I agree not all sex offenders are evil. The problem is, almost all sex offenders, especially violent ones, are repeat offenders. They have admitted there is no cure, so it is up to the general public to be aware of the sex offenders in your area, especially the violent ones. Have a super day.

  • @logik316 To be frank, I don't give a shit what the feminists think. I'm a very logical person and to me, forcing a body part into another body part is not even in the same league as taking away EVERYTHING from someone FOREVER. Not even fucking close. I'm not in any way condoning rape, but to say it's worse than ETERNAL DEATH is beyond idiotic. And since when does being convicted of rape automatically make you a sexual predator? I'm pretty sure Mike Tyson isn't a sexual predator. Enough said.

  • @vio2112

Try speaking to some feminists on Youtube, and you'll understand what I mean. But perhaps it's because most "normal" people can sometimes sympathize with murderers and thugs (hey, didn't you ever just want to beat up or kill somebody who bothered you, even though you'd never really go through with it?). But I haven't met anyone who could relate to a sexual predator, it's almost as if they are some kind of non-human alien species.

  • @logik316 Not sure where you got that from. Rape has NEVER been considered a more heinous crime than murder, which is why murder remains the only crime punishable by death. I'm sure there are people out there that believe it's worse, but reality is, it absolutely is not. I can't speak for anyone else, but I would rather be raped a 100 times over than murdered. Not to mention I was molested as a kid. And if I had a choice to go back in time and be killed instead? Hell no would I go for that.

"Are they saying only "sex offenders" pose a threat to children and society in general"

No, it's just that rape has long been considered the most heinous crime one individual could commit against another (even more so than murder). But the state can't keep those scumbags locked up forever (due to prison overcrowding caused by the incarceration of so many nonviolent drug offenders), so the politicians devised a way for them to go free and having us keep an eye on them.

  • Also, why are no online public registries from other types of criminals? Are they saying only "sex offenders" pose a threat to children and society in general? If these registries are so effective and useful, I'd personally like to have them for murderers, drunk drivers, drug dealers, domestic violence offenders and other violent criminals. I think I also have the right to know if a murderer or a drug dealer who sells drugs to children lives next door to me. Know what I'm saying?

  • Ok... Well, you say you support these various laws named after murdered kids, but you never really explain why. I've been unable to find even one documented case of the registry, residency restrictions, etc. preventing a child from being harmed. Like they say, if someone is intent on committing a crime, they're going to do it. No law is going to prevent them. Forcing them to live a thousand feet from a school is going to stop them? Like they can't just hop in their car and drive to one?
