Well after landing from a jump, you can activate your UT and absorb the essences quickly without any delay just by holding Y for a split-second.

wow if i knew the tonfa's looked so good level 3 i will upgrade em. how did u UT so fast? it was in a splitsecond like a ultimate counter(technique).
