Baldwin MonoTiltor cargo UAV

This updated video from Baldwin Technology video shows the latest refinements to the company's MonoTiltRotor (MTR) cargo unammned aircraft concept. The aircraft takes off like a helicopter, with its load slung under the centre of gravity, then the coaxial rotor tilts down and the MTR becomes a fixed-wing aircraft in forward flight. The narrator is the MTR's inventor, Douglas Baldwin. You can find earlier MTR videos on this channel and see how the design has progressed. Baldwin is working on the MTR under contracts from the Office of Naval Research and US Transportation Command.

Well that's the problem dirtdude. People only pursue peace half assed. Which is cool because the rest of us make war with 100% energy so the lazy half assed peacenicks can smoke their bongs.

It looks like it was designed primariliy as an MTR attack or observation platform, with the cargo-lift capability a secondary thought. Could this platform be massively simplified to include lesser moving parts and components [less chance of failure in the multitude of systems]?
