Spray paint? Doesn't go that far, does it? I can't imagine how many cans of spray paint that would take. Not worth the time or the money.

To all you brilliant folks (especially dos wit dat expanded vocabulary), that don't like LU, The Falwell's or Lynchburg in general. You may take the Jerry Falwell Parkway east or west and go as far as you like. This is still a free Country and you can live anywhere you like. The University does own that land by the way, so where do you all get off telling someone what to do with their own property?

Luv da video and hate the logo on the mountain too. LU is trying to take over lynchburg, they already got the plaza, candlers station. they had 460 named after falwell. next they gon take over the mall, downtown and other areas of the city. City Council better watch out, they've already infiltrated some of the commissions in our government. They got too much money and power. I agree with the redesigned logo, so to all of jerry's kids, FU!!!!!!

well, for what it's worth to us outsiders . . . I'm a pilot. When landing my plane at Lynchburg Regional Airport, the LU created a great landmark from the sky to help me find the airport in marginal VFR conditions. When I rented a car, I knew where I was in the city by using the big LU as a reference point. Eyesore or not--it helps outsiders like me find my way around your confusing town's roadways AND from the airplane when searching for the airport.
