I hate how people say if it has good graphics than it has horrible gameplay. This game rocks in gameplay too! People just need to even it out so they feel better about themselves cause they can't run a 2 year old game.

Hard out man.

I got a Pentium4 3ghz HT, WinXp 32bit 2gig DDR ram, Sapphire Ati HD3850 Agp on a old gigabyte motherboard, Creative X-Fi soundcard and I play this on high with 8xAA & 16xAF at 1280x1024. Which is a pretty measly system these days and consoles can't even run CryEngine2 but my old P4 can. That's LOL.

@MrHuge411 What i mean is both are basically the SAME. A console has the same type of architecture as PCs. a console is just a specialized PC.

PCs are the very foundation of any type of device made today such as phones or routers and such. Because we used them to go further into our technology of touch screen i.e it would become a very different world of gaming if no consoles were made and yet in fact make us much smarter into programming and such. but hey, who knows what future holds for different possibilities. but we mainly call PCs as computer and Consoles.... as consoles lol

actually, theres a difference between "PCs" and consoles. consoles are just a simple very limited gaming device that only lets you use a controller to set up some things like gamma, audio, HUD adjustments. Maybe so consoles invented modern gaming in terms of people buying for gaming because the price comparison and complicated hardware people don't even bother to research like video cards and compatibility ----- next comment

@MrHuge411 console games are made on PCs but not just any old PC. Keep in mind that everyday there are new PCs made how the hell are we even making comparison between actual platforms like consoles vs PCs? PCs are not "a" platform since there are different types. To be honest PCs cannot be better than consoles anyway since both are basically PCs when you get down to it. Also dont forget that consoles basically invented mondern gaming. Without the NES modern gaming prolly would not exist.

@Junonrunon You know why they have unnoticeable pixels? Low, blurry resolution. Have you ever seen a PC with 16x AA and a full HD resolution? THAT is what looks NICE. It seems like you don't like high-quality textures, either, eh? Get glasses!

@OddityX I highly disagree, graphics on PS3 and Xbox360 have always surpassed PC games, with PC games the graphics are either too bubbly and easy to notice pixels/Squared surfaces, whereas PS3/Xbox have smooth surfaces and very unnoticeable pixels

@hammerhead51294 all you have to do is buy a copy of the game crysis, the disc gives you the download, not only that but the game is fun :D

look at the simple detail of the piping when they show the inside of the building... you can actually see the grooves which are fully dynamic and reflect light and cast shadows! Its insane....no engine has even come close to the fidelity Crysis has brought us PC Gamers....

Using Source engine's level editor I'm thinking holycrap this is advanced, even the walls occlude and no more manual placing of areaportals?

Live rendering inside the editor.. even with the water, dynamic lights that dont make your fps drop by 10 points? Pretty awesome.
