I was at the concert too. It was my debut on Roskilde. I'm still strugling with the emotions from the evening. Shame and guilt for not realizing what actually happend at first, I just remember Eddie Vedder on his knees crying, I was standing in the back and couldn't see what was going on. Next morning I phoned my mom, to let her know that i was ok, but she couldn't talk from crying because the police had declared me dead. One of the deceased looked just like me. I still cry thinking about it.

A moment to remember, it belongs to everyone. What can't change the past, can shape our future. Deep love and respect is all around and the world is brought together.
Peace.

Great moment, great video. Heartbreaking ! But those jerks screeming .......... it just shows they didn't have respect for the band, for the victims, for themself. It's a shame.
anyway - PJ great like always I'm still keeping in my head, heart and soul music from Hyde Park concert.

I have the deepest respect for the band. These men stand in front of thousands fans many times every year - and they have the heart to remember to the nine friends lost ten years ago. Great indeed. Great music, unforgettable evening, thank you.

I was there too, and I was there in Denmark that day of sorrow at Roskilde. This shows the reasons why Pearl Jam is so beloved, they are human just like us....this video makes me cry cause it takes me back to that night where Eddie cried for Pearl Jams lost friends and to see them this night still so moved by it..I'll never forget it, I take the memory with me and send the love and thoughts out to those who lost a beloved one 30.06.00
