No, you can't eat silver, but that doesn't mean it isn't one of the most important things to own going into a major economic depression.

If I needed to be a thief I would be. I didn't miss the point, if all hell broke lose people like you think that having coins in your pocket will actually help you, when all it would really do is weigh you down. Currency- Money- Wealth-meaningless.

You DID miss the point. The point is that metal IS useful. Humanity will always need raw materials to produce the things we use to survive and thrive. We need more than just food and water for that. You see metal and you think "it's shiny, therefore it's useless". But you're not educated in the uses of these metals, nor in their rarity. When something is useful AND rare, it is valuable, which means that other people need it, which means it can be traded. These are very basic economic principles.

And besides, how could you stop werewolves or many types of vampires without silver? It would be quite difficult.

What do you mean you can't wipe ass with a shotgun. I beg to differ. If I caught someone stealing my silver that's exactly what I would do. Wipe their ass with my shotgun. Human's have more needs then simply feeling their bellies; but those are only relevant after yours is properly fed.

Silver is good as a long term investement. For the poor and needy it isn't recomended.

If I had a good money surplus(over £500) and knowing for sure that you won't need it for SOME YEARS, I would invest I conic money though

I say leave those people who laugh at us who buy silver to their opinion. It's like religion, there is no point in arguing with them. They laugh and mock us for having silver, let them be and mind our own business and tell them to mind theirs.

I think silver was at its cheapest during the recession. and ppl are just creating a market for them selves now by creating a hype to buy silver, they are making money from u buying silver they bought cheap during the recession.
