oh heyyy guys! sorry for my abscence. isaac had been lame (very very lame) for a long time. i thought i might lose my best friend, but he is now sound and i had my first ride on him just 2 days ago! he is coming back into work and can finally go outside! yayy! those 2 months were some of the hardest days of my life... icing 3x a day at first, watching my best friend be in horrible pain, vet visits, thinking i could lose him... it was horrible. but hes back and im super happy!
so what did i do for those 2 months? i didnt really ride... at all. so excuse the shitty riding. i partied... alot. had a social life. got a boyfriend. i got to be a 'normal' teenager for a couple months. it was actually nice not having to ride in a way. but ive missed it and im glad i can start riding again.
Yes isaac is out of shape. yes i forgot how to ride. and yes he completely lost his mind being on stall rest. but things will be getting better. will he stay sound? will we ever get back to where we were? will he be able to compete and move up the levels? i have no idea. and the vet doesnt either. it looks hoepfull right now! all i know is that he is my partner no matter what.

I know exactly how you felt for the 2 months!!!! My horse has been lame since May 2010 and he is Still lame, He had really bad thrush and it just wouldn't go away!! The vet is not sure why he's still lame but i havent really riden him in about 8 months!! It sucks, I'm so gald your horse is better now though!! :) :)
