The video on preparedness I mentioned by Nutnfancy is called "Fear no Evil".
There are always bad people, evil people, psychopaths, sociopaths, violent schizophrenics, and all kinds of poor idiots you need to watch out for everywhere you go. The old sayings are still around because they are true: "keep your head on a swivel", "failing to prepare is preparing to fail", "train like your life depends on it because it does", and to add my favorite: "keep 'em lubed, one never knows!"

This Himalayan Imports khukuri is called the Vojpuri Bowie and only comes up for sale very rarely so it may need to be special-ordered by contacting Yangdu at himimp@aol.com. Its specs are: overall length just shy of 12", blade of 7" of which 4-5" is usable sweet-spot edge. Weight 18.6oz and together with sheath, 22.5oz.

  • Very nice knife. Cool bag are those YKK zippers lol! Yup always be prepared!

  • @ironmonkeyz

    Thank you, Brother!

I am not sure about the zippers, they don't say YKK on them and they don't look like brass and the teeth are plastic, so my guess is: no, they are some cheaper and potentially weaker version. That said, YKK has such a huge market share that I wouldn't be surprised if these are YKK-made zippers produced at a lower quality/cost.
