what happens to the paper when the candle burns and starts to melt?

does the tissue paper have to be the same colour as the candle? to make sure the image show properly because i have purple candles and i dont know if i should use white tissue paper or the same as the candle!! please reply asap because i am gifting it to my mother for mothers day! thanks so much!!!

Hello, Ms. Heidi Swapp- Please keep this video up for a while longer. I am DIY-ing my wedding reception centerpieces, and your video tutorial has given me such inspiration and help.
