  • on a bigger jump make sure you've got your centre of balance spread nicely so you are really balanced and make sure you keep your shins in the front of your boots and your weight forward. it might be nerves as it's a bigger jump making you lean back a little which would explain the back landing! try and move your arms in front of you too just to help keep you forward. if you've been doing all this then maybe the jump you hit was really poppy making it harder, try a different jump

  • I've been skiing for many years, and I can ride almost anywhere. When it comes to jumps, I'm fine with smaller ones and even mid-sized, but as soon as I try to go a bit bigger, be it getting a "Full" Air on the medium jumps, or moving on to the big ones, I will usually get totally out of position in the air as soon as I leave the transition, and I'll then fall hard onto my back, or upper shoulders.

Its like it just shoots me straight up in the air. What should I do to rectify this?
