1. He beat Orr's ass. Again. That fires up his team knowing they have the toughest guy on the ice.
2. That gets Orr away from Sid and Malkin for five minutes and lets them play without getting cheaped.
3. That sends a message to other Leafs that our guys, and Engel, are not to be fucked with.
4. That deters Orr from acting a fool again.
5. Gets the team a spark, as well as the home crowd, fired up.
6. Neutralizes any dirty play.
