Zimbaweans are not ALL racists like Mugabe. There are many Whites who have just managed to live their lives same as many Blacks,as long as you are born of that land you are of that land. Zimbabwe has a diverse cultural composition,white,indian,black­,asian.this is why the main language of communication is english. very few people can even read the local languages as well as they do with english.thats the difference with neightbours who either speak zulu/tswana/portugese as standard.

The night Mugabe became Zimbabwe's President, its dollar was stronger than US Dollar... and Zimbabwe was known as the "Breadbasket of Africa." It fed not just itself but nearly 1/2 of the entire African Continent... Mugabe, drunk with power, turned out to be "just another African dictator" in the end. Plus, White people are also to blame... they supported him as long as he favored them 100%, and then withdrew their support as soon as they saw rebellion, which was seen by him as betrayal...

Mugabe once blamed inflation on 'Greedy businesses' demanding price rises. This encouraged him to set up price controls. But, as mentioned these have been ineffective in preventing inflation.

Other Mugabe supporters have tried to blame the inflation as a 'Western Import'. Although this assertion is rather bizarre given that inflation is relatively low in Western economies.

The difference between Hitler and Mugabe here is that Hitler took his country from great depression into a prosperous superpower. Mugabe did the opposite, turning it from the breadbasket of Africa into a horrible mess.

This rampant inflation is the same thing that happened in Germany in the 1920s. The result of that was the rise of Hitler. His popularity was based on, "we were great not long ago, we suck now, nobody has any answers, but listen to me and we can be great again. Oh, and it's not your fault we suck right now." He went after the Jews like Mugabe went after white land owners. IN order to be saved the country had to be destroyed. This too shall happen to Zimbabwe, once a wealthy fruitful place.
