  • This is a horrible way to mix colors based on recipes and a lack of knowledge in regards to values. Of course certain colors "darken" skintones and others lighten them. They're darker and lighter then what you may have had before. This is a ridiculous way to advertise your watercolors.

    Glad that you found the video helpful and our colors beautiful!

    A tip for "watering" down your acrylics, be sure to thin the acrylics with acrylic medium so that the thinned down pigment does not lose adhesion like it will with water. Acrylic medium is what the pigment for acrylic paint is suspended in, and should be used when thinning acrylic paint to something that resembles watercolor. Hope that helps and hope you try our watercolors sometime!

  • This video was great! The colours are beautiful. I wish I had some proper watercolours, instead of my acrylic paints that I just water down excessively. But his video is a huge help =D
