Actually what you do is run back to around the area where the two of you were first looking for his ball, drop it (obviously not being seen) then call over to him "found it!" Who says you can't have it both ways? ;-)

one of our regular players in our group is "the cheating bastard" and for that reason, NO ONE will take a bet with him. he has no shame or self esteem, but will continue to horn his way in when we play 2 foursomes! wish i knew a way to punk this guy.
