I was never got minimalism until I listened to this piece.
There's something about the pulse and simplistic weaving of the chords that make this song one of the most complex and surreal experiences I have ever had with music.
Thank you Philip Glass and Mishima. Long live.

@1valicev runaway horses also incorporated

nevermind, it's the Mishima 'Closing' ... I was close!

Is this the song in the new Jordan, "This is Flight" commercial?

@ter521fad Fantastic! Except none of my local libraries seem to carry it...

@globetrekker86 And "Runaway Horses" has also been translated into English.

@ter521fad I've looked for "Kyoko's House" in English, myself. Most likely only "Kinkakuji" (Golden Pavilion) has been translated.

As far as i know, "Kyoko's House" is one of the few books by Mishima that hasn't been translated into english yet. If I'm wrong about that, I hope somebody will correct me.

One of Philip Glass' best works! Thanks for posting. :) Do you know if "Mishima: Life in Four Chapters" is uploaded anywhere online?

this song was amazing. Then i watched mishima. 1000 times more amazing, what a bond between music and film.
I got to love this song from stories produced for This American Life.

This is honestly one the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. It immediately brings up some form of slow motion montage scene of random beautiful events from life. I think about the time I hung out at the bust stop with my friends in 5th grade wanting, and doing nothing special...but I haven't seen those people in in over 15 years and it makes me sad for some reason.
