you sir are a good guitarrist! very down to earth solo, instead of being some shred over the blues track. i want to ask you a question, cuz you know, i'm interested in buying an interphase, and i cant decide if i go for the ux1 or the ux2, could you please tell me if the ux2 has anything better? but keep in mind that i dont neither need phantom power. thanks.

im playing along with ya now in g minor pentatonic.take it away >.<
-
@kyleshut Yup,even a condenser mic with the ux2(cause it has 48v phantom power)

Within seconds I new you were a great guitarist. Feel, taste, restraint and passion. Lovely playing man. You CAN phrase!!! V nice post.

That's an awesome tone you got going there, for a minute i thought it was the backing track itself

hey i got this unit. on the pod farm software they give u on one of the effect i really like is call ( double synth) i was wondering do they make this effect sound for any line6 pedal? i like the sound effect but when i go jam with my friend i cannot take that software with me.
Thanks! You could just go for the UX1. However, if its just guitar you want to use the interface for then you could go for the GX. They all come with the same software so they all produce the same tone and have the same recording capability. Its just the inputs and outputs that are different with each item. Regards

You named your tone appropriately: 'Sweet Strat Tone' :-)
I like your style sir, nice phrasing, sweet tone, and a nice build-up of intensitiy. Truly inspiring. Any tips on how to approach learning this style? I can find the pentatonic scale in all keys all over the neck without much effort by now but that doesn't equal making music ofcourse. How did you go ahead? Listening to and copying/transcribing other players? Some instructional dvd's to assist? Some books to study?

@DG320 To be honest I really can't fit an answer into 450 characters! Maybe I'll do a video lesson on some soloing ideas. Watch this space!

hey man
great job!!! seriously good.
i got some questions: how did u do to play the backing track? does the actual interface has a aux input?
thanks!!

@aneka2
Well I used Ableton Live recording software to record the solo. The backing track was imported into Ableton as an audio file. Then the guitar is recorded over the top of that in Ableton. Of course, you can use the UX2 with any compatible DAW.
As for Auxiliary (AUX) inputs, I'm not quite sure what you mean.. what would you want to plug into an AUX input?
The inputs on the UX2 are:- Line inputs, Stereo Monitor In, Mic inputs (with phantom power) and two instrument inputs
- Hope that Helps

This could just be a classic case of the old ”Tone comes from the fingers debate”, or that my pickups need adjusting or something? Or I am just a talentless guitarist. But I am finding the output pretty distorted in comparison to yours. Your signal sounds so much richer and smoother.
Can I please ask what your guitar settings are?
Tone ?
Volume
Switch position
Many thanks

@StringStudent Hey thanks for the comments! I hope line 6 are listening!
your right, tone comes from the fingers in a lot of cases but you should be able to get a pretty good sound there, your guitar is nice!
My pups are texas specials, which can sound spikey sometimes, so i role the tone down very slightly. I like the neck and mid postion and volume is up full, but if your experiencing any distortion, try roling the volume down, even having the vol on 8/9 can have an amazing effect! - Regards
