My own arrangement of the Erroll Garner/Johnny Burke song Misty. "Look at me, I'm as helpless as a kitten up a tree" - you know. It's an instrumental version on electric guitar (a Fernandes Nomad Deluxe). The bridge is incomplete, but this is really just a test video to see how an AVI from my new camera will look & sound on youtube.

I would love to see a demo of the Fernandes Nomad Deluxe guitar. That would be awesome if you were to do that! I was really doing a lot of research on the guitar and it turns out that they discontinued the Deluxe model... I was looking for videos of the guitar to see how it sounds and i found this, but if you were to make a demo on the guitar that would be great! Awesome playing too!

great playing!! I notice alot of musicians on Youtube playing a barre chord version of this song, where did you get the tabs, I try a version (the only tabs I could find) but it seems too hard for my beginners fingers lol I am just learning and exploring some of these beautiful jazz chords. Keep having fun though and thats the first time I have heard of that particular guitar, sounds good. peace

Thanks for your kind words. As I say in "About this video" this is my own arrangement of this song. The best way to play a piece like this is with barre/jazz chords. The melody on the high strings & chords below. The chords are available on the web. Keep playing!

Yes I would absolutely recommend this guitar. It is a Fernandes Nomad Deluxe, the latest model. It's very hard to find right now, and expensive (they are $599 on ebay) if you can.

I was thinking about doing a demo of it - do you think that's something you, and others, would want to see?
