@koorigashi Well, apparently he might be, kinda. In various interviews Richard Wilson (who plays Gaius) refers to Hunith as Gaius' (step)sister. In the show however, Gaius has rather been presented as a dear old friend who once knew Hunith very well (and who also helped Balinor, Merlin's father, to escape) and now takes care of her boy.
