A CA voter trying to justify actions for the passage of Prop 8 will take that right into the air: government strangulation is indeed a violation of religious freedom. Their logic goes that the people should therefore be able to vote on things like same-sex marriage, which is how Prop 8 really began; religious freedoms are a secondary argument. While we try to prove to them that they are full of it in that context, they'll cite the "activist judges" argument and take your statement down.

God forbid kids are taught to not bully kids for being gay.

Secondly what evidence? Kids are taught this stuff in states where gay marriage is banned, so what does that tell you? The lie here is that the two subjects have anything to do with each other..they don't

Andrehiltre is fake.
S/he's trying to radicalize the opposition so that his/her/our belief in the righteousness of gay marriage appears to be the only rational position (not that it isn't).
I'm absolutely positive that you and that person agree completely.
I think it's immoral to be secretly propagandizing one's enemies in that way, even if I agree.

Poe's law is at work here...sometimes you can't tell the difference between a troll and a person who really believes that stuff because some people REALLY DO believe in crazy stuff like he does. But I don't know, I've met trolls pretending to be radicals and they usually don't harass people who agree with them on their userpages, I had to block him because he was doing that to me

I see this as a problem of rights in this way. Why is gay marriage not aloud? Because the BIBLE says that marriage is the union of a man and woman. I thought that we wanted a seperation of church and state? The opponents of gay marriage say that gays want everyone to be gay like them which is not true. They also saw that they are sex crazed which is also not true.i know several gays well. I have been ALONE with them all and they didnt even try to be anything other than a friendly aquantance

You use the word "evidence" but did not cite any sources -- could you please refer us to a credible source?

Also, what exactly does it mean to be "taught" of marriage in schools? I see conservatives use this phrase often, but I certainly have never been "taught" about marriage in any capacity in schools.

Furthermore, the idea of having to recognize (or "be taught") gay marriage does not violate any part of the Constitution. It's the same as evolution being taught in schools.
