Weird band. I had this EP sent to me with a purchase of something else. I can't find any info on these guys. It is an interesting mixture of rock, rap and groove.

John Evans also used to be in the band, who used to be in a local Manchester band, Thermonic. He went on to be in a band with Bonehead from Oasis.

@jeremydmccann No as far as I know this all they ever released. They toured with Ian brown and after that it all fizzled out.

I found a little more info. from Amazon. They say that three of these people are from the Happy Mondays. Paul Ryder, Gaz Whelan & Lea Mullen.

Paul ryder is not in the band , however u missed off the lead singer john evans and the new guy is from canada hes called mike, he does the rapping while john sings. The band is called hippy mafia and can be found on myspace and twitter.

They have a new band now called The Hippy Mafia, they are currently out in canada about to start touring, they are linked with a record label from the states and its all looking good. Wayne Edwards (my uncle), gaz whelan, paul ryder, and a new guy from new york replaces denis who raps on the buffalo tracks. check them out. gonna be big x

Saw these support Ian Brown at the Hammersmith Palais on the Golden Greats tour. Pretty good as it goes, real loose but swinging - never seen the Mondays live so it was a pleasure to at least see Paul Ryder groove.
