So this is a video of my MFD2 in my VW Golf Mk5 GTI.

I bought this MFD2 multimedia adapter on eBay that enables the TV / AUX / A+V feature of the MFD2.

I play the video from an iPod.

  • No modification, adapter plugs into plug on the rear. CD Changer not affected.

  • I connected iPod A/V cable to the adapter so the video is played from an iPod.

On the adapter you can select wether you want PAL or NTSC.

You can also connect a portable 12V DVD player with A/V output.

Or Play Station or whatever with A/V output.

  • jeno87: AC? Meaning Air condition or?

  • CD version - it cannot play DVD's.

    Don't remember price for adapter..

  • With that modification did you lose the option of use your 6 cd´s box player no ?

  • where is AC:P???

  • what adapter is that?

  • Just a normal MFD2 - doesn't play regular DVD's.

This adapter is bought on eBay and really easy to install.

Just add's a RCA connector to the MFD2..

So you can for example connect PS2, (RCA to iPod) to play video from iPod and such..
