  • I've noticed it on two videos now but what are the, "Proms?" Must be different than what we call the proms here in America! :) Thanks sharing Park. It's a beautiful song.

  • This is one of those pieces that makes me proud to be British!

  • What's it got to do with colonialism? The song is about the Glastonbury Legend, (ie, that Christ came to England with Joseph of Arimethea) not British imperialism!

  • *My grandmother

  • @Songsmirth Happy to help :P. Hmmm, It really depends. Like grandmother would call it pudding whether it was jelly (jello) and custard, or rice pudding. Other puddings I could think of are spotted dick and 'clootie' dumpling which is a Scottish pudding.

  • @weecraig898 Thank you Craig. :) I hope YT has lots. This in one of the reasons I enjoy YouTube. People like you who take the time to explain something about the traditions of their country. Many I've never understood while watching BBC programs. lol Oh, and just an aside if you have time. When you have, "pudding" it's what we'd call dessert I think. I don't see people eating pies that I remember. Not a big thing? What is a common "pudding" please? :) Songs

  • @Songsmirth The 'Proms' are the BBC Promenade Concerts, a series of concerts in summer with classical and some traditional (e.g. Rule, Britannia) music. You should look them up they are magnificent
