Does anyone know the opening song title? Is it an original Baroque piece or is it something written for the soundtrack?

@PKingman Hawaii Five-O is not corn ball, and the cop shows that came later were nowhere near as good. They relied too much in violence, cops shouting at each other, and soap opera subplots. Hawaii Five-O was all about the crimes, the detectives, and the criminals, and kept you hooked from the beginning to the end.

Jack Lord was great in Hawaii 5-O. I was in Hawaii in the Navy when they first started filming that show. I guess kids these days are spoiled by the good cop shows that came later. They would think the old Hawaii 5-O a little corn ball. But at 65 I still love it.
