What are your thoughts on the user formerly known as variablast? I heard an old urban legend once, if you chant the word nigger three times in front of a computer then you'll summon him, and I guess he either kills you afterwards or interviews you.

@ArchNME you're correct all people have, and should have freedom of speech. I'm not talking to white alone here, and I'm not talking about freedom of speech. most of the message is to encourage Black people not to use slurs against each other.

@AtheismCentral No, it's not. What is a fact is that every European language is based on latin and that the latin word for the color black in niger. Also, what evidence is there that that term was at all in use anywhere in WEST Africa where most slaves were captured. Ethiopia is on the other side of the continent. It's nothing personal, just reality, deal with it.

@AtheismCentral What bothers me is black people calling each other nigga in front of me. Some people use it as a subtle way of intimidating. Like look at me saying nigga while you can't because you are "white" and we all might go crazy if you do.

@AtheismCentral Hate to burst you bible but no, nigger comes from the latin word for the color black which is niger. Negro is actually both the Spanish and Portuguese word for the color black. Negus is Amharic, the language of Ethiopia. I think it's quite obvious which term Europeans would have been more familiar with.

I'd like to add that I've actually seen some white liberals calling Herman Cain a "race traitor"... which I find highly problematic considering that -- well, they're white, and it's not something for them to determine, and so they really are not in the position to say that even though Herman Cain isn't someone you'd like to get behind.

Indeed, but what bothers me more is that white people are now starting to use this term, thinking its okay. I'm not cool with a guy calling a woman a bitch, it is designed to make her feel inferior. I'm not okay with some white prick thinking he's black, calling a black person "Nigga" not knowing the history behind it. Negus is a term for King, Nigger is basicly a backwards version of it, with the intention of making the person feel inferior.
