Fascinating interview, Scott - well done. Thanks. You may want to look here on YouTube at the Joan and Christina Crawford appearance on the Jerry Lewis telethon. Joan is pretty clearly inebriated and when Christina comes on at the end you can tell how angry Joan is about having the spotlight shifted away from her, she yanks Christina off the stage. That tends to confirm Mommie Dearest for me.

@hoosierdaddyinsfca On the other hand, I was abused too and I think she greatly exaggerated. She comes across as entitled and spoiled.
