  • I got mine today and I have to say it's an amazing display kit. I got mine from an auction site for £24.00 delivered, boxed and in as new condition ! The only gripe I have is the base, what is that lump behind him supposed to be ? Mine just has a few streaks of metallic paint on it so I assume it's supposed to be some kind of wreckage ?

  • @garystorey Hey, that's a good price! Not a scooby-doo what the lump is, artistic wreakage I guess!

  • @RC1608 I know, I was shocked nobody else bid on it after me. I assume because it was advertised as "Artfx Biker scout" instead of Kotobukiya Scout trooper not many people came across it. I'd been looking for one for ages but kept missing the ones that came up on ebay. Great reviews by the way

  • @garystorey I guess you got it off e-Bay? That's where I get a lot of my stuff from. It's just a matter of luck who finds the item and who remembers to bid on it as well! It does make you feel kinda nice inside when you get a bargain like that! Glad you like the reviews!

  • @RC1608 Just a quick question too. I've noticed a couple of details on my scout trooper base that don't seem to have much attention paid to them. Theres an RPG looking object, a shell casing and some pipes and pices of scrap metal that haven't really been picked out properly. I was thinking of painting them myself but was wondering if this would affect the value if I decided to sell at a later date ? I'm more than competent at using acrylic paints so know I could do a good job.

  • @garystorey Morning! It depends if you think you're gonna keep it or sell it on at a later date? If you are using acrylic paint, I guess you could always wash / soak it off at a later date as it is a water based paint.

  • @RC1608 Yeah I did, I blame you for my subsequent purchase of Commander Bly from Kotobukiya too ! It seems I've been bitten by the collectors bug as I've got my eye on Commander Cody too but cant really justify the cost so close to Christmas. Bly seemed a bargain though so I nabbed it !

  • It was too pricey but I was getting lured in cuz so far the seller was the only one who has it. I'll try to go around and I hope I find one with the right price. Thank you for the response.

  • @xph0enixxx $200 - ouch - shop around, shop around! Can't remember how much I paid for mine but it was no where near that much!

  • How much did you get yours? I wanted to purchase one locally but it's being sold for almost $200
