Scarborough Flyer 14th August

6233 Duchess of Sutherland and the returning Scarborough Flyer 14th August.
The two previous weeks I had been at Goostrey and for both runs the locos had been cruising through. So I decided to go to the next station, Chelford in the hope that as it was closer to the stop at Wilmslow 6233 might be working a bit harder, and the approach was better sweeping round from the right.
Also the previous two weeks the scheduled looping had been missed out.
This week it was not to be and a couple of minutes before 6233 was due, the signals, which had been set for straight through changed for the loop. So as a result she was coasting for the 20mph restriction into the loop.
I though i would then try a quick dash to the next station but as i pulled into the cark park she roared through.****** *******. Checked with a watcher there who said that nothing had come through immediately in front, so why was she looped?????

Thanks Matt.. The approach from the right was better then I had realised, at speed would have been brilliant. Question is dare I try there again or go back to where I know works?
