  • Especially hard to see if you don't look at all - as in this video.

Did you spot the classy bit of lane discipline earlier on with a car going right in a left hand only lane? Two for the price of one in this vid!

  • That car could have distracted you a little more and actually caused you to crash into the Polo. Crashes are often a sequence of events, and not just one singular cause, and this is a good almost example!

  • I see what you mean. It's often the unusual circumstances that cause an accident - I had not thought of small combinations adding up like that.

  • Good sensible riding mate keeps you good to ride again, well done

  • Dam car drivers, hardly ever stay in lane!

  • If you had the same reaction time, attention span, or spatial awareness as the average driver I'm sure you would be toast. That's in America anyway. Glad to see someone NOT crashing their bike. Thanks for posting, because we ALL can learn something from this. The worst thing is being told about a crash and not knowing the cause. I heard about a month ago that two of my friend's friends were killed on the parkway. He claimed it to be the uneven pavement, but I wish I really knew where and why.

  • The problem is the vast majority of bikers disregard the rules of the road.

Its hard to see bikers in your mirrors, especially when they have a tendancy to dart from side to side and them over take queuing single file traffic like in this video.
