Sokkia NET05 : DigInfo

At Sea Japan 2008, Sokkia displayed their new NET 05 which can take measurements of distance and position extremely quickly and has the world's most accurate prism measuring capabilities.

The NET 05 can take readings in less then 2.4 seconds and can measure distances up to 3,500m. This model has bluetooth built-in so data can easily be transferred after measuring.


The Net 05 can be used for tunnel and bridge construction, shipbuilding, train and plane manufacturing, and monitoring factories and plants. The NET 05 can be set to automatically take measurements, reducing the reliance on operators and allowing for constant measuring of the position of structures such as bridges to ensure that the structure is stable and safe.
