I don't understand this? The runner wasn't defenseless... He wasn't like a quarterback that gets smacked after a throw? The runner ran straight up to T.J. and got what he wanted. If the runner trucked T.J. the same way I bet they don't throw a flag. In fact the play would probably be on the top 10.
