@ShivuTheWolf I think she is pretending at this point..."When you come home we'll never be apart if I keep dreaming of you, start believing it's true- soon you'll come home"... She's fabricating for herself a perfect family, in this case, with the Wallops as her parents and her newest friends because: 1. they are the only other family in the movie 2. the only other children (or puppies ^_^) in the movie 3. they need a better life too, and the Wallops could provide that.
