First run of my engine after installing a Power Commander. Idle is fast because the engine is cold.

  • @mrbrandan if you have the right map loaded (for your exhaust and air intake), you dont need to take the bike to the dyno run, Dynojet provides many ready-to-use maps, you can check which one you have using a netbook in about 5 minutes (like Im doing in the video)

  • hey mate, i got a new exhaust and power commander mapped for my exhaust and air intake. if i put it on will i have to get it dyno tuned as well? or will the power commander sort out the tuning? cheers

  • yes, you need to have fuel injection to use a Power Commander, check their website for more info. If you have a carburetor, you can use a jet kit, but usually what you do is a full "Stage 1" that is pipes, air filter, and some sort of fuel manajer or rejet in case of carburetor. Google for Sportster Stage 1 for more info.

  • does a harley have to be fuel injected to have a power comander? also how much hp gain?
