This couple is wonderful! They are intelligent and comical. I would love to eat lunch with them sometime. Anyone who opposes what they are doing can enjoy eating only turnips for the rest of their ignorant lives ;)

@WojuPK Hypocrites would oppose the idea of the consumption of Guinea Pigs, but eat them anyway. The consumption of cow, or any other animal for that matter, is different from eating Guinea Pigs, thus making them not hypocrites. Although if the commenter brought up the idea that eating all types of animal is erroneous, yet ate Guinea Pig, they would indeed be hypocritical.

funny how all these comments are saying that eating guinea pigs is wrong, but yet, i bet 99% of them have eaten cow meat or chicken before...

When an animal lives with us we determine the time of it's birth and the time of it's death, and in between we have a responsibility to it's welfare. These guinea pigs obviously have a decent life, while they are alive. Much better than sad battery chickens or CAFO cattle or pigs.
The self-sustainable system is very humane and responsible.
People who don't want to eat them because they're "cute" are just prejudiced hypocrites with their head in the sand, unless they are fully vegan.
