it is honestly so troubling for me that people like this are allowed into the wilderness. i guide trips in temagami ontario, too many times my trips have been interrupted by the need to help out and often evacuate idiots like this from the trail . if you want to go canoeing, take a guide with you and drink your beer on site. respect the wilderness, it will mess you up.

And it didn't help them that they had the canoe BACKWARDS. Check out the seat molds when the guy in the back stands up. This distributes their weight in the wrong spots.

This is the perfect example of things not to do when paddling whitewater. No PFD's, no helmets, no flotation, only one of the two paddling,rescue attempt made by bystander wearing neither PFD nor helmet, standing up in whitewater, and most of all.... ALCOHOL. These are the kind of guys that become statistics.
