Chris White - Spanish Wine ( + Hot Hits album sleeves )

Chris White recorded a solo album ( Mouth Music ) in 1976 from which this single is taken. Spanish Wine made # 37 in the UK singles chart and was his only solo UK chart single.

The video features Hot Hits album sleeves 1 - 20 issued in the UK from 1970 to 1973. The albums were cheap and featured cover versions of the original hits by anonymous musicians

@teflonmike1 Snap - have just got here after putting it in as Beach Boys! The voice is smoother than Beach Boys though, but definitely sun and sea music

Hah.... I spent ages looking for this in the firm belief it was the Beach Boys...! All the harmonising etc is way Beach Boys style... How it only got to 37 baffles me...
