It's believed that they feel easily threatened by other coaches. They want to steal credit for all of the top talent in Ukraine and get paranoid that the gymnasts' original coaches will somehow get in the way of that. Though really, it's just that--paranoia. They are very jealous, entitled, and will turn on people without a moment's notice, destroying their own national program in the process.
