How do you guide yourself into meeting a god or goddess in your meditation? Do you visually guide yourself or do you wait for an absence of thought and then a vision takes over?

I kinda know what your going threw as far as wondering if you should incorporate a god into your workings. I’m also very goddesentric and have recently been wondering if I should try to work with male energy. Part of me doesn’t know where to start but I figure when the time is right I’ll know and he will reveal himself. I don’t think isis would be mad. Maybe this is her way of telling you its time to start working with male energy’s.

Isis knows what we need so I' sure that She wouldn't be angry with you. She once brought in a Goddess that I was scared of to help me through a problem because I just wasn't listening to Her. My year with Kali was painful but in the end, vital for my growth. I think that Eros will be a wonderful guide for you! I am also one that has a hard time with the male/God energy- if I had it my way, all my focus would be on only Isis. But She had shown me differently and I'm glad that She did. :)

I really don't think Isis would be angry with your for working with a male energy. And I think having a goddess and a god to work with really brings balance. She most likely won't be angry with you for letting a male energy into your life... She is the mother and she only wants what is best for you and if you feel that it is best then she will support you... It's not being disloyal as long as she is never forgotten... Isis is my goddess as well and she has no issues with sharing the spotlight with my Patron god Thoth

this is amazing to watch... im very excited to hear how your meeting with Eros goes! Use plenty of calming backround music! also, maybe even try meeting with Isis before you meet Eros? Ask her if this is ok, or if she has another in mind for you? Like asking advice from the most amazing mom ever! ooo and what about meeting with your spirit guide!!! Look into Sylvia Browns spirit guide work! she explains that the sex of your guide is what you NEED the connection with, so maybe its a guy!!

i so get that . i find it so hard to relate to a God and the masculine energy .i also work with Isis she came into my life .i also work with Aphrodite and she does not mind me working with her, she still helps me so dont worry some times we need other Gods and Goddesses and even angels in different times in our lives you will also find the Gods came into our lives .and it looks like this God has come to you and for a reason as everything is always for a reason xo..

I dont think it would be disrespectful. Everyone needs balance so I would meditate on it and she how she would feel about adding a male energy.
