Sony DSC S930 Preview

The Sony DSC S930 is an entry level digital camera. It has 10 megapixels and a 3x optical zoom lens. This is one of the more basic digital cameras and this is reflected in its price.

If you are looking for a digital camera at this end of the market you will find it has a cut down set of features when compared to more advanced digital cameras. For example the DSC S930 has a movie mode that is fine for playing back on a computer, but will struggle on a television set. The 2.4 inch LCD screen is a shade smaller than you will find on other digital cameras, even other entry level models.

The DSC S930 includes a small number of preset scene modes. When you select one of these it helps the camera to decide on the settings it needs to use for the shot. There is also a red eye correction tool to clean up and problems with portrait photos taken using flash. The camera runs on AA batteries and is on the large side to fit easily into most pockets.

hi i want your opinion on the fact that the camera doesn't have Li battery and you have to replace them all the time. And how long do they last? Should i give 90 euros to buy this or 135 to buy the w210?

I don't know many about w210, but if u think that w930 isn't good because it doesnt have rechargable batteries you are false. u can buy a battery charger and u charge the batteries with it! the choice is yours, but dont think batteries as a disadvantage!

is there a macro setting on the camera beacuse i cant find it to turn it on

Yeah, there is macro mode on this camera. If u take photos, just hold the shot button half, then let it macro and press it full. On video do the same but while u recording u cant re-macro again. i mean while u record video u macro once before the video starts!

i use burst option for sports events and camera take great photos. also indoor pictures are not so good, even with flash...

@Xartomoutro2 Ok, no it isn't. I own one of these things. but I don't own speakers. Maybe you should have it in written word on the video if it's gonna be a review. I make videos for my business, and what you took is an aerial shot, not a review.
